Buying Made in America TVs can help keep jobs in America. Some major TV manufacturers make TVs in the United States. Some small manufacturers have their entire company operations based in the United States, where they design and assemble their own TVs.

However, when it comes to TVs, you may find yourself having difficulty searching your local stores before finding one that was manufactured domestically.

Many TV manufacturers have moved their production facilities overseas to cut costs. Some even sold off the companies they founded after they started losing their competitiveness due to pricing and costs.

Here is a list of TVs that are still Made in America. 

1. Element Electronics

Element Electronics is one of the largest TV companies selling televisions that are assembled in America. Element Electronics is mostly known for their Android and Roku Smart TVs. 

The company has a manufacturing plant in Winnsboro, South Carolina, where its American headquarters is also located. Even though they are assembled in the U.S., most of their TVs are manufactured in Asia.

2. Olevia

Olevia is an American manufacturer of LCD and LED TVs.

LCD TVs come in two main sizes: 32 and 42-inch display screens. They both come with an Energy Star rating. The 42-inch TVs are also full 1080p. 

LED TVs range in size from 22 to 42-inch displays. There is also a 32-inch model that has a built-in DVD player. Each of the LED TVs have Dolby Digital sound and a 1080 display. 

3. Panasonic

Panasonic is a Japanese company with headquarters in Japan, but have manufacturing plants in the U.S., Malaysia, and a few other countries. 

While most Panasonic TVs are assembled in Malaysia, there are a few TV models that are assembled in the U.S. The 20-inch TV/VCR combination TVs are an example of the ones that are still assembled in America.

4. Philips Magnavox

Philips Magnavox is based in the Netherlands with manufacturings plants in several countries, including the U.S., China, Malaysia, Mexico, and Thailand. 

Some projection TV models are assembled in America, but most of the Philips Magnavox TVs are assembled overseas.

5. Sceptre

Sceptre is well-known for making budget and affordable LCD and LED TVs, including ones that have displays up to 4K. Screptre is based in City of Industry, California.

They are a private company manufacturing a wide range of consumer electronics, including computers, notebooks, CRT TVs, networking devices, cameras, and more. 

6. Seura TV

Seura TV is a family-owned company that started in 2003 by founders Tim and Gretchen Gilbertson in Green Bay, Wisconsin. Their TVs are completely made in America. 

Their first TV set was a TV mirror prototype that also acts as a full mirror when the TV was turned off. Since then, Seura specializes in designing and manufacturing lighted mirror TV sets. 

They carry a variety of indoor and outdoor TV models. They also manufacture waterproof dual-purpose vanity TV mirrors that can be use in bathrooms and anywhere else you want. 

7. Sharp

Based in New Jersey, Sharp Electronics Corporation is a division of the original Sharp company that is based in Japan. 

Sharp manufactures LCD and LED TVs with display screens up to 80 inches. They also make TV accessories and consumer electronics like Blu-Ray and DVD players.

8. Silo Digital

Silo Digital makes TVs and computer monitors in their homebase of California. They manufacture LCD and LED TVs. 

LED TV models have display screen sizes from 24 to 47 inches. The LCD TV models range from 32 to 55 inches. The majority of their TV models have a 1080p display output. They also manufacture a 3D LED TV set that will put you in the action. 

9. SunBrite TV

American company SunBrite TV is based out of Thousand Oaks, California. They also have manufacturing plants in Texas and North Carolina. 

They specialize in designing outdoor TVs that are engineered to survive harsh weather conditions. 

SunBrite manufactures 3 lines of TV model series: 

  • Veranda Series – Designed for outdoor spaces that are in complete shade and have no sunlight. 
  • Signature Series – Designed for outdoor spaces that receive partial sunlight. 
  • Pro Series – Designed for bright outdoor spaces that receive full sunlight. 

Even though they specialize in engineering outdoor TVs, they also make great indoor TVs. They’re one of the top TV manufacturers in the U.S.

10. Toshiba

Toshiba’s headquarters is in Japan, but they assemble some TV models in the U.S. They make the SuperTube TV and Flat Tube HDTV in the U.S. Some plasma TV models are also made in the USA.
